EIM Projects

Columbus, Ohio - Our most recent project is for Bank One. EIM employees are assisting Bank One in the development of CARS. The Customer Assist Reporting (CARS) Data Mart stores the daily activity that occurs in Customer Assist, VRU and other customer facing applications. These applications are used by the banking and call centers to support customer sales and service activities. Information about customer events such as reported problems, service requests, applications started, account openings, account closings, customer and account data changes, account and transaction inquiries, and monetary transactions performed in these applications are available in CARS. Acting as the data architect for CARS, EIM’s responsibilities include: analyzing and defining business information requirements from the client community; working with the DBAs to design a balanced system which is tuned to the needs of the Business users; lead data design efforts for all system changes and interactions with other systems including data sourcing requirements; establishing auditing procedures to ensure data integrity; establishing detailed data documentation (metadata) for CARS; maintaining the currency and accuracy of data documentation over time in the Metadata Repository (MDR); and conducting peer and client reviews of CARS specifications.
